Kitchen Things have long been sold successfully by
organizations or charities, flea market merchants,
home-party sellers, retailers, and gift shops.
Important Tips:
1 - You can take orders easily by showing our catalog sheets. No
expenditure required. Most people are already happy
with cutlery and our Corelle, Pfaltzgraff, and Ingleman products,
and would love to buy more or match their other pieces.
2 - It's more profitable to use the J. Mark program.
You'll make larger dollar sales than with traditional
products.
3 - Showing samples of a few best sellers helps drive sales immensely.
You can buy samples at 30% off regular retail.
You can auction or raffle them or sell them, or use them to reward the hostess.
More Tips:
1. - Your group can e-mail our catalog pages to friends and
relatives far away to add even more money to your fund raising.
2. - Set a deadline of about 4 weeks, so everyone gets
their order in promptly.
At Christmastime we receive too many orders at once.
To overcome this, your paid order must be in our hands by Dec. 1.
It will be shipped on a first-come basis by Dec. 12. It should reach you by Dec. 18. (West of the Rockies by Dec.22)
If you need it earlier, please order by Nov.20th.
We are now closed Thanksgiving week due to UPS closing
surrounding Thanksgiving and no ability to receive or ship merchandise.
3. - Collect when taking orders, and add something
($1.60 per $10.00 sale) toward postage. (See postage chart below.)
4. - Sales tax Outside of FL there is no sales tax due us.
In FL, If you give us your tax exempt number, we will refund the
tax on Pay Pal online orders.
If you aren't "non-profit," you will probably
owe your own state a sales tax when you make a sale.
5. - Try to sell sets instead of one knife. Your customer may make only one purchase, but you'll sell several knives at a time.
