font-size: 18pt;\">When the acid\u00a0in the dairy-free buttermilk interacts with the<br \/>\nbaking soda in <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">the recipe it leavens\u00a0the dough, allowing<br \/>\nit to rise without <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
