Set aside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In the microwave, or in a heatproof bowl on <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">top of a double boiler, place the butter and<br \/>\nchocolate. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Stir frequently until the chocolate and butter <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">are completely melted and smooth. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Remove from the heat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar,<br \/>\ncocoa powder,<br \/>\ntapioca starch (or potato Starch) and<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">almond flour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Add the dry ingredients to the melted<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">chocolate<br \/>\nmixture, and mix well to form a lump-free batter.<br \/>\nAdd the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">eggs and vanilla, and beat into the<br \/>\nbrownie batter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Fold in the chocolate chips if using. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, using<br \/>\na spatula to <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">smooth the top.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2175\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jmcutlery.com\/wiz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/brownie-2342762__340-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jmcutlery.com\/wiz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/brownie-2342762__340-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.jmcutlery.com\/wiz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/brownie-2342762__340.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or<br \/>\njust until <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">the brownies are firm to the touch, and a<br \/>\ntester inserted in the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">center of the pan comes out<br \/>\nclean.
