Add them to a <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">If you aren&#8217;t used a high-powered blender, it will take several <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">minutes for the cashews to break down and release oils in order <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">to become a smooth mixture. Stop to scrape down the sides as <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">needed; you can also add filtered water a tablespoon at a time if <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">you&#8217;re having trouble blending.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Note: if your blender has warmed the mixture very much, it&#8217;s <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">best to take a break now and wait for it to cool down (we don&#8217;t <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">want to kill the yogurt cultures with heat). Then, add the yogurt <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">and salt and pulse to combine.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Transfer to the clean container and cover. Let sit out at room <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">temperature for 24 hours. Use a clean utensil to taste the mixture, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">and add more sea salt to taste; let it culture for another 12-24 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">hours if you want a stronger tang.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 weeks. I have tried this with soy yogurt <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">and it also works. I find Forager cashew yogurt a little more prone <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">to mold than other brands.
