You can<br \/>\ntop it with dairy-free ice cream or whipped cream<br \/>\nor any of my <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Healthy Frostings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jmcutlery.com\/wiz\/quick-healthy-low-sugar-frosting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Healthy Frostings<\/a><\/span>.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nYou save on <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">dishes by preparing it right in a greased<br \/>\n8 square or 9 inch circle pan. That means less cleanup.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><br \/>\nI used a 8&#215;8 inch reusable pan. Or you <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">can mess up a bowl and mix the ingredients<br \/>\nbefore pouring into the pan.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Grease the pan well and put a layer of parchment<br \/>\non bottom for easy removal. Or line the pan<br \/>\nwith one sheet of parchment. Just stir with caution<br \/>\nnot to mix the parchment into the batter.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><br \/>\nMeasure the flour, sugar, cacao and salt<br \/>\nand baking soda into the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">pan. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Using a fork<br \/>\nor whisk, gently stir all ingredients until no<br \/>\nstreaks remain and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">everything is combined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><br \/>\nIngredients<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 \u00bd cups of oat flour<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00bd cup tapioca flour\/starch, or Arrowroot).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">3\/4 tsp xanthan gum <em>(or a <span class=\"tooltips \" style=\"\" title=\"1 tablespoon ground flax or chia seed +&lt;br \/&gt;\n3 tablespoon hot water&lt;br \/&gt;\nwait a few minutes until it turns glutinous\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Flaxseed Egg)<\/span><\/span>,<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 cup raw or coconut sugar<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1\/4 cup cacao or cocoa<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 tsp. baking soda<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 teaspoon vanilla<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 tablespoon white vinegar<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 cup cold water, or any plant based milk<br \/>\n1\/3 cup light olive oil<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1\/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>Options:<\/strong><br \/>\nSometimes I add a pinch of allspice, or<br \/>\ninstant espresso powder, or a few drops<br \/>\nof rum. Or I sprinkle the top with chopped<br \/>\nnuts or shredded coconut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><br \/>\nDirections:<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nPreheat oven to 350\u00b0F.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Whisk Flour. Tapioca, Xanthan gum (<i>or flaxseed egg)<\/i><br \/>\ncoconut sugar, cup cacao, salt, and baking soda<br \/>\nIn a parchment lined baking pan <em>(to save cleanup),<\/em><br \/>\nor mix in a mixing bowl..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Scoop out three holes or valleys in the flour<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">mixture. Pour the vinegar into the first hole;<br \/>\nthe vanilla into the second hole, and the oil<br \/>\ninto the third. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><br \/>\nPour the water (or plant-based milk) over everything<br \/>\nand stir with a fork or whisk until <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">everything is well<br \/>\nblended. Don&#8217;t forget to stir in the corners of<br \/>\nthe pan <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">and the edges! Be careful not to disturb the<br \/>\nparchment paper. Or mix in a large bowl to accommodate<br \/>\nthe procedure, then pour into lined 8&#215;8 pan.<br \/>\nBake 35-40 minutes.
