Because it is<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">gluten-free, you may not get a paper-thin shell.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The entire assembly took me exactly 20 minutes<br \/>\ntotal to peel, core, and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">chop 3 medium\u00a0 apples,<br \/>\nand chop 1\/2 cup each of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">walnuts, dates and raisins<br \/>\nin the food processor, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">assemble and mix the dough<br \/>\ningredients, and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">roll it between 2 sheets of parchment<br \/>\nbaking paper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong>The Quick method<br \/>\n<\/strong>Lay the apples raisins and nuts on half \u00a0the dough<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">leaving a half inch edge empty for sealing,<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Fold the<br \/>\nempty half \u00a0of dough over the apples <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">and press with<br \/>\nthe opposite edge (you may need to <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">wet it) to seal it.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Roll this forward so the seam is <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">underneath, to prevent<br \/>\nseparating. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Oil the surface, Brush with egg, and sprinkle<br \/>\nwith <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">sugar. Pop into a preheated convection oven for\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">38<br \/>\nminutes. Handle as <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">little as necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Sift flour, Tapioca, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> Make a well in the flour.
