I just use it on my yogurt, and<br \/>\nfor ice cream or a slice of dairy free cheese cake.<br \/>\nYou can use fresh or frozen fruit. Be sure to remove<br \/>\ncherry pits and wash and dry blueberries. Remove<br \/>\nany leaves or stems.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ingredients: <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">14.5 oz. tart cherries in juice<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1\/3 cup coconut sugar<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">pinch kosher salt<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1 tablespoon tapioca starch<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">1\/2 teaspoon almond extract<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Bring all ingredients to a gentle simmer in a medium <\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">saucepan until thickened. Cool completely.
