Grease a 9-inch pie plate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">In a large bowl mix together flour,<br \/>\n3\/4 cup sugar\u00a0 (plus 2 Tbsp sugar, divided)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00bc tsp salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">In a medium bowl whisk together oil, eggs and<br \/>\nvanilla.Pour into dry ingredients. Stir to combine. Fold<br \/>\nin 2 cups strawberries. (Batter will be thick.) Transfer<br \/>\nto pie plate.Add remaining \u00bc cup strawberries to top,<br \/>\npressing in a bit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Optional: Sprinkle top with remaining sugar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><br \/>\nBake for 40 to 50 minutes until toothpick in center<br \/>\ncomes out clean. (It can have crumbs on it, but no<br \/>\nliquid batter.)
