I love this Vegan Mozzarella Cheese!

 MELTABLE Cheese Recipe
Total cook time 6 minutes
(Refrigerate 2 hours)

We’re not vegans in my family. I make this cheese
because we love it, and we know it’s healthier than
cheese made from animal milk. It’s also readily
available in my cupboard and takes 6 minutes to
make!

I it costs less than dairy or vegan packaged cheese!
Although you need to buy some costly items to start,
like agar agar and nutritional yeast, they last for many
months. You use only
small bits of them.

INGREDIENTS

1 (13.5 oz) can coconut milk full fat

1/2 cup hot water

2 tablespoons *agar agar powder
*HEATH BENEFITS OF AGAR AGAR

2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoons garlic powder

How easy and quick to make is this?  Whenever
I want cheese, I just pour the coconut cream and
hot water into my stainless steel sauce pot, add
agar agar, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, tapioca,

lemon juice and salt.

Turn on the stove at medium to bring it to a simmer
while stirring. Lower the heat to
keep it just simmering.
Stir with a whisk, slowly, continuously for 6 minutes.
That’s all.

Then pour promptly into your waiting greased
bowl /mold. Then pour quickly into your greased mold.
Use a silicone spatula to scrape the pot while its
still hot. Work quickly. It sets rapidly. Cool it.
Now you have cheese.
When cool enough, cover and refrigerate. Use within 5 days,
or wrap and freeze a portion in an airtight container
for up to 3 months.
