Golden Flaxseed No-Knead Bread Recipe

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Flaxseed Bread
For bread machine or oven. Ready in 55 Minutes.
A soft uniform crumb, delicious buttery-tasting bread.
High in protein and fiber, low in carbohydrates. With the
health  benefits of Almond Flour and ground flaxseed.
The best bread for weight loss. It leaves you feeling full
a lot longer than most other bread.

This bread makes shorter slices than my sandwich
bread recipe.

  1. If you want a bigger, sandwich size, flaxseed bread,
    use this recipe. I eat a slim slice of this bread every
    morning. It keeps me feeling full for hours.

Do not use whole flax seeds. I grind the seed myself
(for extra freshness) in my coffee grinder, an inexpensive
one, a “Chefman” from Amazon). I use Golden Flaxseed for
lighter color. Brown may be easier to find, and gives a
nice whole wheat color. The only difference is color.

While it makes great toast, almond flour burns easily.
Keep an eye on it if toasting in a toaster oven.

I’ve only used almond flour, and flaxseed, but for folks,
allergic to almonds or tree nuts, can use one of these:

Alternatives to substitute Almond Flour

  • Oat Flour + 1/3 tapioca
    .
    Sunflower Seed Flour
    .
    Cashew Flour
    .
    Cassava Flour.

 

While it is not specifically a ‘bread machine’ recipe,
I blended the ingredients and transferred them to my
bread machine, because I needed the oven for 
something else. It works perfectly on a short quick
one-rise cycle.

I prefer to spray my bread machine pan with non-
stick oil spray, and I blend the batter before I add
it to the machine using this recipe.

I mixed the ingredients on the quick cycle and
when the mixing stopped, I removed the paddle,
and let the cycle continue to bake another 40
minutes.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups almond flour (or nut flour)
1/3 cup ground flaxseed, (golden) for lighter color.
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup coconut sugar

4 eggs
1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk PLUS
1 tsp. vinegar (allow to thicken for 5 minutes).
2 tbs. olive oil
2 tbs. honey

Mix almond flour, flaxseed meal, eggs, almond milk, olive oil,
baking powder,
and salt together in a bowl until smooth thick
batter forms. Mix in bread machine or 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease
a loaf pan or line with Parchment paper.Transfer batter to
prepared greased loaf pan, or
(parchment paper lined) for easy cleanup and removal.


Bake in preheated oven until top is golden brown, about
50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes
out clean. Cool in
loaf pan 10 minutes before transferring
to a wire rack to cool completely.
